If you've recently had a baby and are unsure whether it's safe to hit that pavement yet, then this service is for you! In one virtual session, we will put you through the paces to ensure your post-baby body is ready to safely handle the rigors of running. Your Postpartum Readiness-to-Run Screen includes: *One full hour online wellness coaching session with a licensed pelvic floor Physical Therapist, via a secure HIPAA-compliant video call. *A screening of 14 key exercises, to ensure your pelvic floor, abdominal and leg muscles have recovered enough to adequately handle running, and you are agile enough to manage the related load and impact *Screening for diastasis recti, a separation in the abdominal muscles that can occur with pregnancy *Tip sheet for success when returning to running, to help stack the odds in your favor of doing it safely *Instructions on how to make running with a jogging stroller a help, not a hindrance Whether you are taking up running for the first time or are an old pro, be sure your post-baby body is ready for the rigors of running.
